ok so i wasnt sure when i was ever gonna get to finally say what i am working on but it looks like today is the day! i have been collaborating for some time with bill ayers on a graphic novel version of his well-loved text, to teach. it’s going to be really amazing! here is a panel from the proposal draft that says it all:

that’s not a great indication of what the final book will look like… really, there’s not a lot to show just yet as the script has only recently been completed and is going through some edits/revisions. i’m just starting up the pencils for the final book and i’ve been doing lots of character sketches:


so there you go, that’s what the big mystery has been all this time. that’s why i went to chicago and that’s why there have been so many drawings of classrooms and bill ayers on my blog for the past 6 months or so. oh, yes, and thats also why i had a forrest gumpesque cameo on bill o’reilly.

the book is scheduled for release in spring 2010. yikes! i’d better get back to work!!!

and i’m back and i’m actually settling in! expect a lot more blogging from now on!

ill be continuing to work on my big gigantic project for the next year but i still cant say what it is. how intriguing! all of you (or should i say both of you…?) who follow my blog could probably figure it out if you really wanted to…

ill be working on some quick projects over the next few weeks so ill be sure to post them as theyre completed.
