it goes on and on like that journey song
Sunday, August 19th, 2007nothing’s going on but the forlorn hope for a few weeks still. i think it’s gonna come out real nice. there’re a bunch of people walking in the background throughout, so i drew this little lineup of the whole party (sans indians) to keep better track of them in my soggy little brain.
they’re so cute you’d hardly think they were cannibals.
even more forlorn hope? who even cares anymore!??!
Thursday, August 9th, 2007nobody, that’s who! but i am waiting for the floor to dry so i can eat this really good curry i made and in the meantime i am posting the pencils for the first page of this story i am working on.
so there you go. that’s about as tight as i get, pencils-wise. sometimes it works out real good and sometimes there are disasters. i use a lot of whiteout.
more forlorn hope
Sunday, August 5th, 2007while we’re wrapping up the last details of the script, i’ve been working on character designs:
this is one of the main guys, who i call, “shooty.”
here’s the other main guy, who the writer, shannon o’leary has named, “emo fuckwit.” these drawings, they are pretty loose.
this is just a big mishmash of character sketches, digitally compiled for your convenience.
yes, this is a “concept drawing” of a “pivotal scene.”
finally, here are some character sketches of the miwok indians. i’m gonna hit the library tomorrow and do some more research and then i’ll be drawing the best miwok indians you ever saw.
