every once in a while i try to come up with challenges for myself to further hone my superpowers. this time i decided to do a comic a day in my sketchbook for a week, which im pretty sure is a completely original idea. they’re all improvised and drawn directly in pen (some of which is worked over with a brush).

anyway, here’s the first one:

ps. right…so, anyway, im gonna post one a day on here to recreate the incredibly exciting experience of a comic a day being released into the world. i swear that they are all ten million times better than this one.

this is the kind of thing you would get from your brother for your birthday if you were both nerds and your brother was a guy who draws comics and also was broke (a surprisingly common combination). it’s based on a dumb private joke we had about marvel comics.

ps. my brothers birthday was actually a couple of weeks ago but i didnt get around to posting this until now. i just felt like i had to clarify that for some reason.
